Well here we are, nearly the end of our trip. I am not sure if we are ready to come home yet! Only money is running out and we are missing you all. We have driven down through wales, beautiful country. Yesterday we spent the day in Bath and visited the Roman Bath House.
Today we visited Avebury, similiar to Stonehenge. Picture this, Steven making Ike and himslef a hat out of tin foil to wear. Apparantly to save you from them ...... not sure who they are, but Steven knows. (google tin foil hat, you will understand). Ummm There is a web site dedicated to saving yourself by wearing a tinfoil hat. I was a little bit embarrased, and I will book him in for treatment when we get home.
I will admit that we witnessed one guy hugging each stone in turn, and a group of people linking hands around the stones. Hence the tin foil hat (maybe to protect us from them).
Tomorrow we will be doing the same at Stonehenge .......... how fun!
Pictures to follow when we arrive home.
Hope you have enjoyed our blog so far.

Fort Williams, and Killan...
We are now in Rob Roy country and a wee bit of scotch mist....
We stopped on the road to show Ike a field of stone stacks (don't know who would of done this ....) maybe a rock group.
Water water everywhere we look. The cannon belongs to the Macgregor's (in a folklore museum at Killan). Killan is out of this world, water coming down from the mountains everywhere.
Can't believe only 1 week left here. On the last leg of our trip. Gemma and Scott, we are starting the miss you guys now (and Jackie).
See you all very soon. Scott, we will check with you if you can pick us up from the Airport.

Loch Ness
Isle of Skye
Castle Stuart
Shirley.... the street scape picture is of Musselborough (where Steven's) Grandad came from).
Castle Stuart in the Highlands, sixteenth century castle. Wow! It was amazing, we shared the castle with another Australian couple. We had the honour of being piped into dinner. Lots of secret doors .... ghosts ...., I think Steven and Ike had a bad nights sleep!
Bye for now, Chriss, Steve and Ike.

Edinburgh
Here we are in Edinburgh, maybe we will organise a kilt for Steven and Ike. Some pics of Edinburgh Castle, although we didn't go inside (we are a bit palaced out).
Scott, we thought you would like this monument (Scott's Monument). We visited the grave of Grayfiars Bobby. The story is that the master died and Bobby slept on his master's grave for another 14 years..... being fed by a local restaurant. Bobby was eventually buried in the same cemetry as his master.... sad.
Next stop Castle Stuart. Love Chriss, Steve and Ike xxxoo

Last day Istanbul
The 3 day festival at the end of Ramadan is over now so we headed off to the spice markets and the grand bazaar. Wonderful full colours and aromas. Ike was interested in the turkish delight... check out the large blocks. Again Ike wanted to buy me some gold jewelery but by this time we had spent all or our money on a handwoven silk carpet (small).
In the afternoon I (Chriss) went to the haman for my turkish bath, blissfull... laying on heated marble slabs constructed in the 1500's.
Dinner was golmosas (not sure of spelling), very thin pancakes with filled with spinach, meat etc. Tomorrow off to Edinburgh, last leg of our trip. Ike thought the pomegranate juice was not sweet enough for him. The previous night we had pide (Turkish pizza) for dinner.
