Istanbul is a beautiful city, very Middle East/Asian in culture. Crazy cars and drivers....We are staying a restored ottoman house and are woken up about 5am by the calling of prayer to the mosques. Everywhere you look there is a mosque.

First day Istanbul
Ike and Chriss sleeping on the train from Athens to Istanbul.First visit in Istanbul was Aya Sofya, the most amazing mosque we visited, built in the late 500's AD The size of the central dome is massive and decorated with mosaics as the photo shows.
