Kalgoorlie & Wave Rock (Hyden)

Well we have seen the sights of Kalgoorlie! Brothels, 2Up games and the Super Pit (Gold Mine).  We had lots of fun here and the people are very welcoming.

Some stats for the Super Pit:

• Produces 22 tons of gold per year
• Each of the 40 large trucks are worth $4.4 million and were carrying about 220 tons each, load
• Current dimensions of the Super Pit are 1.5km across and 3.7km long
• In it's 26th year of operation
• 40% of the workforce are women 

Wave Rock was an awesome sight . We are getting used to life on the road , getting pretty quick at setting up and packing up camp!
