finally here....

Sorry this has taken so long but Rod's internet has been down for 3 1/2 weeks thanks to B/T. Arrived Tuesday after a long flight. Short stop in Incheon was a break.

Rod took us to his local pub the Tabard for dinner 0n the first night.

Wednesday morning we went on a London open top bus to get an overview of London. We stopped at Buckinghqm Place and visited Lizzie's state rooms ........ another world. Ike wanted us to buy him a crown but the jewels were too heavy for our luggage. Saw Tower Bridge, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Trafalger Square, etc. Quiet evening at home, very tired.

We are getting the hang of the tube system, it is fantastic. Thursday we did a river cruise on the Thames up to Greenwich. Stood on the meridan line, date and time 00 for the world. Amazing history over here, fantastic displays of early astronomy and prescision clock making. Bought tickets in the half price ticket booth at Leicester Square last night to see the West End musical production of Zorro!. Very enjoyable.

Today we are off to the London Dungeons and Borough Markets. This evening we are hoping to go to Gordon Ramsay's gastronomy pub in Chiswick for dinner.

Weather has been pretty good, cool and just a couple of showers.

Bye for now, love Steve & Chriss xxx

p.s. Ike was very excited to see the Thames from the plane, and the boat ride seeing the sights of London. Going under the Tower Bridge was fun. When we arrived at Greenwich he jumped onto the meridan line first.
