Derby

We started our Gibb River Road journey in Derby with a feast at the local fishing club (barbeque and mud crab $10). In 10 days we completed 1,000km on dirt roads, and yes I am over dust..... dust..... and  more dust.  This journey had it all station stays, river crossings, hot springs, gorges, crocodiles, rock art. We blew a tyre and wrecked a rim (not too bad considering).Weather has been fantastic but very dusty and dry. In a couple of days we will be starting our journey into N.T. Starting to feel a little homesick, but life on the road is wonderful!

High tide Derby Pier, massive high tides here of up to 11m
